I spent my morning looking through old DG pictures for the senior slideshow. Looking through pictures of freshman year formal I got super emotional and thinking like “OH LOOK AT ME I HAD MY WHOLE LIFE AHEAD OF ME BACK THEN WAHHHHH I HAD SO MANY MORE FORMALS TO LOOK FORWARD TO!!”
It’s hard sometimes to remember that I still do have my whole life ahead of me! The college chapter may be coming to an end in a few weeks, but there are so many more chapters I haven’t even dreamed up yet.

Next week I have an interview for the perfect job!!
I’d be helping place international students coming to learn English in America in homestays, as well as planning activities for them and just basically being a resource any time they were having trouble. And it’s in San Diego which is where I really wanted to be this summer!
And the BEST part is, they are only looking for a seasonal person for this, so I won’t be screwing anyone over when I have to leave for South Korea at the end of the summer!
I have to successfully get the job first obviously, but I have a good feeling. It’s my dream permanent job condensed into the summer job I was looking for, it was meant to be.
